3A TerraTrike Cruiser Review Empty Adding a rear brake to the Cruiser Wed Jun 30, 2010 10:14 pm

I am serching for what would be needed to add a rear brake to my Cruiser. Has anyone doen this and if so, what components would be needed for the most economical method?

Why would you want a rear brake? If it is to keep it from rolling get a pony tail holder or a short piece of doublesided velcro and wrap it around one of the front brakes levers.

I have been riding trikes for years and have never seen any reason for a back brake.

Disc brakes have so much stopping power. Maybe the older drum brakes were not as good?
